/ about

Designer, coder, systems thinker. Born in Mongolia, based in the DC metro.

For the last fifteen years I have designed software for the moments that matter to the people using it: a denied medical appeal, a missed paycheck, a subcontractor sent to the wrong bay.

My method is deliberate. Before I open Figma I map the workflow: who is doing what, in what order, and where the current process falls apart. That map tells me what to design, and just as often what not to. It is why this portfolio is organized around the flows rather than the screens.

I write code as well. A working prototype gets direct feedback; a Figma prototype gets polite feedback. I designed and shipped Pulse IQ solo, and I keep that muscle in use so I can be a better partner when I work with engineering teams.

I have worked with Centene on Indiana Medicaid appeals, NielsenIQ on the OmniData platform, Avionté on the CHANGE Card, Oracle Prime Field (formerly Latista) on the iOS rebuild, the Foreman App, Quick Punch, and Daily Reports, and the USDA Food & Nutrition Service on the Innovation Hub.

Off the clock I am a photographer, a dad, and a long-term optimist about what enterprise software can feel like when the work is done properly.
